Well its getting very hot!!

Now in Australia there are some very hot days around. Guinea Pigs don't always like it! The poor little things can't go and have a swim like us so we need to think about ways to keep our cavy's cool and happy. I have come up with some great ideas about keeping them cool.
  • I was thinking that you could put a wet towel across the top of their cage and keep wetting it very hour depending on how hot it is. The dripping sensation of cold water refreshes the little guinea pigs.
  • Also make sure that the little things are in the shade all the time because they can get sick from too much sun.
  • It is also very wise to keep filling up their water bowls and to make sure that there is plenty of water all the time.
Please comment and give me some more ideas and i will update the post and put them up.

Guinea Pigs

I think that Guinea Pigs are the best little starting off animals.

Before you buy a Guinea Pig you have to make sure that you have a safe cage. You also have to think about the winter. The little animals need a warm house to. Little simple things count.

Guinea Pigs are great for young children. You have to make sure your child is responsable enough and has had the education on how to hold are care for a guinea pig. Its quite simple to learn and once you know you will never forget.

This blog is all about Guinea Pigs. If you want to know a question leave me a comment and i will try my best to give you an answer. I myself have 8 Guinea Pigs.
